R&D's High Performance Billet Supercharger Shaft eliminates the weak design features of the OEM supercharger shaft. When increasing performance (boost) it’s recommended to upgrade to the R&D Shaft to ensure you will not have shaft failure.

The R&D Shaft is precision CNC machined from one piece of high grade Super Steel Alloy, heat treated, and precision ground to spec. The Shaft and Gear are ONE PIECE, (not a pressed together assembly like stock) to guarantee that under ANY boost pressure the gear will not break off the shaft. The one piece design will also eliminate gear slippage under high boost loads and increased heat.

The R&D Shaft also features a larger upgraded and fortified thread diameter that will not fatigue or break under extreme conditions. The larger thread diameter will also allow wheel torque specs to be increased safely.
